Valentine’s Day is almost here, and with restaurants reopened across the province, dinner reservations can be made once again! And this year, Ottawa eateries are pulling out all the stops. From Baccanalle to Gray Jay, there are several restaurants where you and your partner can enjoy a romantic, multi-course meal in Ottawa. Check them out below!

Baccanalle

Transport yourself to the tropics this Valentine’s Day at Baccanalle, Ottawa’s premier Caribbean restaurant. They have a special menu on offer between February 12th and the 14th, with entrees ranging from $20 to $40. Options include jerk chicken, tamarind glaze salmon, surf & turf (featuring southern fried shrimp and sweet jerk BBQ beef ribs), and of course, Jamaican patties (they even have DIY patty kits!).

Raphael Express Peruvian Cuisine

Surprise your partner by making a reservation at Raphael Express Peruvian Cuisine. If you’ve never had Peruvian food before, you’re in for a real treat. Their $95 Valentine’s Day tasting menu features everything from shambar (a traditional Peruvian wheat soup) and marinated mussels to a charcoal-oil marinated beef tenderloin and a vegan passionfruit cheesecake.

Gray Jay

Head to Gray Jay on Saturday, February 12th between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm to indulge in an exclusive five-course tasting menu. At $90 per person, the menu includes the likes of braised lamb with squash, Basque cheesecake with apple blossom, crab touton with hazelnut and leeks, and a celery root and cucumber veloute.

Zoe’s

Treat your partner to an exclusive prix fixe menu at Zoe’s this Valentine’s Day. Zoe’s at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier is pulling out all the stops, exclusively on February 14th. For $98 per person, you can enjoy a milk bread amuse bouche, foie gras mousse, beet stained vodka salmon, lemon roasted quail, brandy butter braised lobster tail, and a s’more chocolate pot au creme.

If you’ll be in Ottawa this Valentine’s Day, then we suggest making a reservation for two at any of the restaurants above. And if you want to make the weekend extra special by booking a staycation, we’d love to have you at the Best Western Plus Ottawa City Centre. We combine luxe amenities and a romantic atmosphere with a prime location in the heart of downtown Ottawa.
