Ottawa Bluesfest is back!

Ottawa has some of the best festivals in Canada – not to mention some of the best in the world! Coming up in July is one of the biggest!
 

OTTAWA BLUESFEST

Ottawa Bluesfest (sponsored by RBC) was ranked by none other than Billboard as one of the top ten outdoor music festival in the world! That’s right – this festival hosted right in Canada’s backyard ranks right up there with all those more famous music festivals like Bonnaroo and Coachella… and is frankly WAY less annoying.

Taking place over 11 days from July 5 to July 15, the line-up this year is looking INCREDIBLE. Not a fan of the blues? Don’t worry, there’s something for everybody here. Love classic rock? Bryan Adams and Jethro Tull are headlining the festival. Want a bit of pop in your step? Shawn Mendes and Chromeo are here to turn this into a DANCE PARTY. Too cool for school? Check out indie darlings like Courtney Barnett and Beck. Hankering for a hunk of punk? Rise Against are going to bring the mosh pit. Want some cool country sounds? Legendary Canadian troubadours Blue Rodeo are going to take to the stage along with MANY other great acts. Add to that classic blues acts, hip-hop, DJ sets and even spoken word acts for the sensitive souls, Bluesfest is THE festival for everyone.

Bluesfest takes place at LeBreton Flats on the grounds of the Canada War Museum, just a short walk from Parliament Hill. This is an Ottawa tradition and a MUST-VISIT.
